It's the story of how my mother acquired money for some of her letters and writing about Salvador Argon, a man my mother loved, who was incarcerated as a young boy for murder. Paul Simon used her letters for his play, 'The Capeman.' I guess it's not for me to say what the work is 'about.' But, it's about a lot of things like transgression, martyrdom, Indian womanhood in relation to the fall of Man, and Perpetua, and Hildegard, and Moms.Published
